Julie Rogerson

Julie is an award-winning cake designer from Beverley in East Yorkshire (UK), where she runs her cake decorating and teaching business, Julie’s Cake in a Box.
She specialises in creating novelty styled cakes, as well as carved and gravity defying cakes, for weddings, celebrations and corporate events.
Whilst competing at Cake International, she has achieved a number of Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, mainly in the large and small decorative exhibit categories. Julie has also had tutorials published in many leading cake decorating magazines.
Although Julie is tiny in height, she is packed full of passion for cake decorating. She loves to pass on as many hints and tips as she can during her classes, with her cheery, down to earth manner.

Julie says: “I just love teaching online classes from the Sugar & Crumbs kitchen. The way it is set up feels like the students are there with me, as their comments are read out live whilst I teach. There is always such a fun and friendly atmosphere, I look forward to every visit. It really feels like you are part of a community with the class Facebook groups too, as we can all help and support each other outside of the class too.”
